Vacuum Forming Tool

Rollamo developed nearly 60 tools for drinkware and flatware in 2010.

Vacuum forming was used to manufacture the tools for producing glasses with lid, plastic cups and dishes. A special 72 multi-cavity mold was developed for improving production speed for the plastic cups and lids. It was ensured that the tools manufactured the components with zero leak between the cup and the lid, which was a critical requirement. Additionally, a circular rib was provided on the cup tool to establish a smooth edge for ergonomics when using the cup.
